5/4 "New Sounds" and "Deconstruction" Concert Series from DIY Plattsburgh and the Monopole Bar

Location: Monopole Bar, 7 Protection Ave, Plattsburgh, NY 12901

Visitors can enjoy two Thursday night concert series to downtown Plattsburgh this spring, presented by DIY Plattsburgh and the Monopole Bar. "New Sounds" and "Deconstruction" focus on new underground acts in the Plattsburgh music scene. Doors open at 8:00 pm, with music starting around 9:00 pm. All concerts are free admission to patrons 21+.  "New Sounds" will bring a mix of folk, pop, and rock music, while "Deconstruction" showcases punk rock, heavy metal, and experimental artists.

April 20th: Last Nugg (local reggae/jam supergroup)
May 4th: Jon Wagar & Friends (North Country folk/bluegrass feat. members of the Wagar Brothers)

Head to the 6th annual Plattsburgh Half Marathon on Sunday May 1st at 8 am! Registration is limited to 1000 runners so please make sure to register early!  There will also be spots opened for relay teams this year, offering a 2 person relay at distances of 6.5 miles (approx) each. For more information on the marathon visit the City of Plattsburgh Half Marathon website.
