Join in the Octoberfest Half Marathon celebrating the apple region of north New York. This 13.1 route captures the beautiful, peaceful, country scene of Peru, NY. Peru, NY is the second largest producer of Macintosh apples of outside of Washington State. Come and enjoy the smell of crisp clean air and the fragrance of apples as you run this unique course. The Adirondack Coast Wine, Cider and Food Festival will have live music and a wonderful display of fireworks. The fall farmers market will celebrate the bounty of local farms with foods and gourmet products, wine tasting, artisans, vendors, food demonstrations and sampling throughout the day.
