Every spring since 1995, members of the New York State Maple Producers Association invite visitors into their “sugar houses” with the goal of educating the public about New York’s maple farming processes and traditions. This is your chance to taste pure maple syrup -- right from the source! This delicious, fun-filled outing offers a little something for all maple-lovers to taste and experience, like sugar house tours, samples, activities and much more. Explore sugar shacks and maple farms throughout the Adirondack Coast March 18 & 19 and March 24 & 25!

3/18 Class: Beginning Wheel
Location: Strand Center for the Arts, 23 Brinkerhoff Street, Plattsburgh
Classes will take place on: Saturdays March 18, March 25, April 8, & April 29, 2017 from 9:00am - 11.30am at the Strand Center for the Arts
Learn the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel with an emphasis on centering, opening, and pulling and an introduction to glaze application. Ages 18+. Cost is $135 for Non-Members and $120 for Members (materials and open studio time included).
