Drawing scholars and faculty from near and far, both within and outside of the SUNY system, this conference at SUNY Plattsburgh focuses on the theme of "art" within Austen's novels, such as needlework, bonnet-making, song, dance, piano-playing, and more.  General public welcome!

Every spring since 1995, members of the New York State Maple Producers Association invite visitors into their “sugar houses” with the goal of educating the public about New York’s maple farming processes and traditions. This is your chance to taste pure maple syrup -- right from the source! This delicious, fun-filled outing offers a little something for all maple-lovers to taste and experience, like sugar house tours, samples, activities and much more. Explore sugar shacks and maple farms throughout the Adirondack Coast March 18 & 19 and March 24 & 25!
