Start Time: 4:00:00 PM - End Time: 5:30:00 PM The Wagar Bros. are a local string band guided by Jon and Matt Wagar, a brotherly duo from the southern Adirondacks. Rounding out the cast are Catherine Wurster, Austin Petrashune, Chad Bruce, and Ryan Casey, all North Country natives. They are an all original band who shifts from rock and roll to hip-hop, blues, reggae and even country. All these genres can be heard throughout the band’s 5 studio albums. 9/9 Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration: Reenactment: Tactical Demonstration between British & American Troops

Location: Terry Gordon Bike Path, US Oval Park, Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Start Time: 10:00:00 AM - End Time: 11:30:00 AM Starting on Terry Gordon Bike Path entrance off of Jay Street, this new addition to the Commemoration schedule is a reenactment that will take place near the US Oval in Plattsburgh. Start Time: 10:00:00 AM - End Time: 4:00:00 PM Have you ever written with a quill pen, made a shingle by hand or spun wool thread? The ever popular guides from the Chateau Ramezay Museum in Montreal will be dressed in period attire and provide interactive demonstrations on a variety of skills including weaving and writing with a quill pen. 9/9 Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration: Quigley Highlander Pipes & Drums

Location: Macdonough Monument, 42 City Hall Pl, Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Start Time: 9:30:00 AM - End Time: 10:00:00 AM For years the Spirit of Scotland Pipes and Drums entertained Plattsburgh audiences during the BOP weekends. Now referred to as the Quigley Highlanders they return to the Battle of Plattsburgh under the direction of band leader Pipe Major Ron Graham. Headquartered in Martintown, Ontario, they play approximately 40 engagements a year throughout southeastern Ontario, western Quebec and eastern New York. 9/9 Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration: Macdonough Monument Open for Self-Guided Tours

Location: Macdonough Monument, 42 City Hall Pl, Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Start Time: 10:00:00 AM - End Time: 4:00:00 PM Overlooking Plattsburgh Bay where the pivotal battle was fought, this 135-ft. monument was built in 1926 to honor Commodore Macdonough’s victory over the British fleet. Clinton County Historical Association will host tours throughout the day! Location: City Hall Place, Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Start Time: 11:00:00 AM - End Time: 12:00:00 PM The Plattsburgh Noon Rotary Club presents the 7th Annual Rotary Bed Race! All five-person teams are encouraged to create and decorate their own entries and arrive in costume. The fastest bed will win $500, with $250 and $100 for the second and third fastest, and one further $150 award will go to the bed voted the best overall theme by a panel of judges. That winning team will receive the coveted Golden Bed Pan Award and bragging rights! Start Time: 8:00:00 PM - End Time: 9:00:00 PM Experience a Nighttime Tactical Demonstration between British and American Troops! 9/9 Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration: The Challenge Cup Bateau Race

Location: Samuel De Champlain Monument, Cumberland Ave., Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Start Time: 11:00:00 AM - End Time: 12:00:00 PM This is one of the largest historical boating reenactments in the Northeast, with as many as 15 wooden vessels, hand-built by re-enactors. The boats will start from the mouth of the Saranac River by the Champlain Monument and row to a marker buoy set several hundred yards out in the bay. They will turn around the buoy and return to the river to place First, Second and Third place. This 12th annual BOP Challenge Cup Race will be in full view of spectators standing at the Champlain Monument, with start and finish at the mouth of the Saranac River. Certificates and cash prizes will be awarded to the winners, with the First Place winning boat engraved on the Challenge Cup kept on display at the Kent-Delord House Museum.
