3/21 U.S Apline Ski Championship

Many of the U.S. alpine stars competing in the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada will be racing in Lake Placid when the U.S Alpine Ski Championships are held at Whiteface Mountain. The country’s best alpine skiers return to Whiteface in their quest for national championship titles.  Some of the United States’ top skiers are expected to compete including Steven Nyman, Ted Ligety, Julia Mansuso, and Lindsay Vonn. The event will also include several up and comers, who hope that this will be their first step to Olympic glory someday. For more information visit www.whiteface.com

3/21 Family Art and Nature: Maple Sugaring

Maple Sugaring Spring in the Adirondacks is sugarin' season. Learn where this tradition started and meet a Sugar Maple. After returning inside we'll create our own baskets that Native Americans would have used to carry syrup but you can use it for art supplies, knick knacks, or treats.
