EVP Adirondack Coast Pro-AM Returns to Plattsburgh City Beach Saturday, July 25
Beach Volleyball Tour Brings Competition and Fun to the Adirondack Coast
– The The Adirondack Coast Visitors Bureau, a division of the North Country Chamber of Commerce, along with the City of Plattsburgh are excited to welcome back the EVP Beach Volleyball Tour
, coming to the Adirondack Coast for the 2015 EVP Adirondack Coast Pro Am event Saturday, July 25th. The national beach volleyball event will be held at Plattsburgh City Beach along the shores of Lake Champlain, surrounded by breathtaking views of New York’s Adirondack Mountains and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
The EVP Tour has been hosting beach volleyball events since 1994 and encourages all athletes and their family members to come out for “a great day at the beach” with Pro, Amateur, Coed and Juniors Series events. Teams may register for the tournaments at www.evptour.com or call 773-387-1198. A team fee of $55 for Juniors (12U, 14U, 16U and 18U) and $65.00 for amateur adult’s teams is suggested while space is limited. Local Professional teams may apply online to compete for the $5,000 prize purse.
Spectators both on location and via televised coverage will see extremely talented athletes compete in the professional division. EVP Tour’s commissioner, Ross Balling stated “The Adirondack Coast is a great summer vacation destination. Our teams and fans are looking forward to returning to the City of Plattsburgh. The beach volleyball venue is perfect for a weekend of very memorable match play and center court finals.”
Along with games and events taking place throughout the day the EVP Tour will also offer Volleykidz Beach Camps and a Corporate Challenge. The Volleykidz Beach Camps will take place Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24, the EVP®Academy uses the Volleyball Pros lesson plan to enhance student skills making the game more enjoyable and challenging them to experience volleyball at the next level.
