Catch the Excitment as Rayovac FLW Series Takes to Lake Champlain this Week
The Pro Bass Fishing Tournament Season Continues July 31-August 2
Plattsburgh, NY– 7/29/2015 – The Adirondack Coast Visitors Bureau, a division of the North Country Chamber of Commerce, along with the City of Plattsburgh welcomes the Rayovac FLW Series back to Lake Champlain Thursday, July 30 – Saturday, August 1. Registration for the second stop of the 2015 Northern Division will take place on Wednesday, July 29 at the Crete Civic Center from 4:00pm-6:00pm.  The action begins at 6:00am everyday with daily weigh-ins at Dock Street Landing in Plattsburgh, NY at 2:00pm. The weigh-ins, which are free and open to the public, will feature giveaways and interactive family friendly activities. 
Approximately 300 pros and co-anglers will fish for a top award of $40,000 plus a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude. Co-anglers will cast for a top award consisting of a Ranger Z117 with 90-horsepower Evinrude. 
The Rayovac FLW Series consists of five divisions – Central, Northern, Southeast, Texas and Western. Each division consists of three tournaments and competitors will be vying for valuable points in each division that could earn them the opportunity to fish in the Rayovac FLW Series Championship. The 2015 Rayovac FLW Series Championship is being held Oct. 29-31 on the Ohio River in Paducah, Kentucky.

The Rayovac FLW Series is one of six pro bass fishing tournaments taking place on Lake Champlain this summer. Attracting roughly 2,000 anglers from around the globe, the end of summer 2015 pro bass fishing tournament schedule includes:

August 8: Walmart BFL – Northeast
September 27: Bass Federation Collegiate Cup Challenge
