New York State Bicycle Route 9 traverses a 345-mile route from New York City to Montreal. The northern section of the route passes through several communities in the eastern Adirondacks and Champlain Valley on its way to the Canadian border.
The route joins Quebec Route 223 north of Rouses Point and follows the Richelieu Valley and the Chamblay Canal Towpath to Montreal.
