Meet Kristy, she's Vice President of Marketing for the Adirondack Coast Visitors Bureau, a division of the North Country Chamber of Commerce and a true ambassador for the scenic Adirondack Coast!
Kristy was raised in Plattsburgh and has grown to love exploring the area and telling others what makes the Coast special. She has worked for the Chamber since 2008, and enjoys traveling around the region meeting new people and chatting about all the fun experiences the area offers.
She enjoys paddling, beaching and hiking in the summer – oh, and drinking a local microbrew or two! During the Fall Kristy loves conquering corn mazes, visiting pumpkin patches and making her secret apple pie recipe... using local Macs, of course.
In the spring, Kristy knows the place to be is the local sugar shacks, to relish in the sweet treat of locally produced Maple Syrup! And finally, while others may think the winter too cold to enjoy, Kristy enjoys playing in the snow – and perhaps stopping by a local winery to warm up with a glass of wine and good companion!
Follow Kristy as she uncovers the gems of the Adirondack Coast.
In this web series, Kristy will guide you through some inside secrets
of cycling on the Adirondack Coast. From where to eat, sights to see
and places to explore, these are sure to make your next vacation a truly
great experience.
Meet Alyssa Senecal! Since joining the Adirondack Coast Visitors Bureau in 2014 as Group Marketing Specialist, Alyssa has been an invaluable source of information to any and all group tours who come her way!
Born in Peru, NY, Alyssa genuinely enjoys promoting the area she grew up in and never misses the chance to plan a “field trip” to new businesses that come on board with the Chamber. This is especially true if it involves food, beverages and baby animals of any kind!
Alyssa loves that her job enables her to experience new attractions, restaurants and events on the Adirondack Coast, and like many people, she enjoys a little something about every very distinct season here. From apple blossoms to beaches, pumpkins and foliage to fun in the snow.
A self confessed foodie, she likes to try and sample everything the Adirondack Coast has to offer in that respect; delicious cheeses from local creameries, Greek fries from Aleka’s in downtown Plattburgh and doughnuts from Rulfs Orchard being just a few of her favorites.
